The first single off of the fresh new artist LELAND’s EP, “AWARE” has such a delicate happy feeling. It reminds me so much of the first time I heard “Electric Feel” by MGMT, which was like I was hit with a lust for life and blissful joy. “Aware” makes me want to drive down PCH with the windows down on a beautiful sunny day. His sound is very nostalgic; like a mixture between 80’s pop and new age indie. Like M83 and MGMT and INXS had a musical baby that just sprung out of the womb and blessed us with its creation.
